Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped cabbage
  • 1 cup cooked garbanzo beans (if canned, drained)
  • 2 tsp fresh minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 3 tsp organic soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 slice chopped fakin bacon Tempeh (for garnish)

Instructions

Chop onions, garlic, and cabbage and set aside. Grate ginger and set aside. If you are using canned garbanzo, drain and set aside. Heat up pot to medium heat and add olive oil. Add onions, garlic, ginger and garbanzos and stir for 2 minutes. Add cabbage for 1 minute. Add soy sauce, Worcestershire and water cover it and bring it to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low and cook it for 10 minutes. While the soup is cooking, in a small frying pan, add 1 tsp of olive oil and sauté tempeh for 1 minute. Add to the top of soup when serving.
