SAMBAsics – The basics movements of the original samba. Movements are done slow paced and in progression while on the balls of the feet. The dance combines back and forwards leg movements, hips side to side, and arms in circular movements. Here, the students will build core strength, have better posture, and coordination. AFROSILIAN-Afro Brazilian dances influenced by the Afro diaspora found in the Yoruba traditions. The movements are very high impact and wide. It extends parts of your body, helps with flexibility, and upper body strength. It includes jumps, leaps, twists, arms movements similar to punches and kicks.
